Securing planning permission on this site – following several failed attempts by other developers – would always present a significant challenge. Having successfully obtained permission, our task has been to ensure the development would integrate well into its Green Belt setting.

This Green Belt site had many previous uses, including a mushroom farm and overflow airport parking.  Having initially obtained a lawful use for 60,000 ft2 of mixed industrial space, by working with local stakeholders including the Parish Council and LPA, we were subsequently successful in obtaining a new residential planning consent within a short timeframe, delivering a significant uplift in land value. 

The residential land is in the process of being sold. Deeley Freed will be delivering the employment land.
